Sam Harriger is a Consultant at Reference Point with over three years of experience supporting strategic data initiatives within the financial services industry including data privacy, reporting, dashboarding, and risk and regulatory compliance. Sam has a strong understanding of the applications of data within financial institutions, data analysis and visualization, and being the translator between business and technology.
Prior to joining Reference Point, Sam was a Senior Consultant in the Data & Analytics group at a global strategy and technology consulting firm within financial services. While there, Sam helped lead the data reporting work-stream of a large-scale risk and regulatory reporting project, managed an external data element taxonomy for proper data mapping, supported the integration of systems into a privacy center to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act, and assisted in the qualitative and quantitative assessments of reporting processes.
Sam graduated from Wake Forest University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance with an Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise minor.
