Director & Chief of Staff

Allison Henry is a Director & Chief of Staff at Reference Point. In her role, she manages critical, high-touch client engagements for executive-level clients across the financial services industry and serves as Chief of Staff to Reference Point’s Managing Partner.

Throughout her career, Allison has had strong experience establishing and leading cross-business and enterprise-wide initiatives. She is proactive, rationale, and innovative – capable of identifying and managing large-scale business process transformations with a proven ability to develop standards, processes, and the necessary change management to ensure long-term program and firm success.

During her time at Reference Point, Allison has supported various engagements for financial services clients. More recently, she helped stand-up a new function and program to manage demands across Wealth Management Technology with risk and regulatory drivers in a multi-merger integration environment. Previously, she defined and implemented the operating model for the merger integration office of a large US bank and led a team running day-to-day merger integration activities from deal announcement to deal close. She also managed a team to assess a payments modernization program and recommend a comprehensive future state payments model, inclusive of people, process, and technology. Additionally, Allison has performed multiple rapid strategic assessments of organizations, strategic projects, and key processes to provide executive-level audiences across the financial services industry with insights regarding opportunities for improvement.

Prior to Reference Point, Allison began her career at BlackRock within the Chief Operating Office of US Wealth Advisory. She holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science & Policy from The College of William and Mary, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Outside of work, Allison enjoys running and biking around Washington, DC; cooking and trying new restaurants; and international travel.
