Matthew Murphy is a Consultant at Reference Point with extensive experience leading workstreams spanning operational analytics, data management and strategy, and systems delivery implementation. Matthew is knowledgeable across a proliferation of technical tools which he uses to drive digital transformation and synthesize key quantifiable metrics, resulting in the alignment of recommendations to strategic business objectives. He has experience executing across a wide range of highly visible data initiatives, including metadata management, operational analytics enablement, and data capability assessments. Additionally, he is a certified Microsoft Workplace Analytics Specialist.
Prior to joining Reference Point, Matthew worked as a Senior Research Assistant at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. He managed options and futures implied financial models and provide analysis to governors and senior officials on relevant topics of concern including market expectations, term premiums, and Treasury yield curve slope.
Matthew graduated Magma Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s Honors College with dual majors in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics and International Studies with a concentration in Globalization. He studied abroad in Peru and is an avid traveler with who loves experiencing a vast diversity of cultures.
