Margarita Pineda-Ucero is a financial services senior executive with extensive experience operating in global corporate services and private company board environments. She is known for her ability to deliver high performance on multi-functional global teams, with a solid track record in developing, revamping, and transforming business strategy, risk culture, and organizational structures. Her extensive knowledge spans strategy, finance, and enterprise risk management with experiences across mergers & acquisitions, global commercial lending practices, transaction structuring, business transformation, and operational excellence. Her professional path spans Asia, Europe, the United States, and Canada.
Margarita previously served as the Chief Risk Officer for GE Capital Latin America, where she executed a business transformation to achieve heightened governance for a wide variety of commercial lending products across multiple countries. She also served as Chief Credit Officer for Corporate Lending in Latin America at GE Capital Global Banking, and as the former Chair of the Risk Committee for the Board of Directors of GE Financial Mexico. Additionally, Margarita is the founder of the Women Dignity Alliance, and a member of the Women International Forum at the United Nations.
