Director, Business Development
Kyle Nagel is a Director at Reference Point and leads the firm’s business development initiatives. He brings over 25 years of capital markets and advisory experience at financial institutions on both the buy side and sell side. Kyle possesses deep expertise in cash and derivatives markets, particularly in the credit and securitized products markets. He is facile in the most complex cash and derivatives instruments in the markets, especially those with difficult-to-price embedded optionality. Much of Kyle’s career has centered on managing large client relationships and implementing solutions to complex client challenges.
Kyle has a proven track record of driving complex business solutions while coordinating and providing oversight of internal and external teams in large-scale programs. Kyle’s experience managing numerous stakeholders to common goals and objectives exemplifies his ability to successfully lead complex and lengthy projects to completion on time and on budget. He brings a unique balance of quantitative and qualitative skills to client delivery given his relationship management and analytical skillsets.
Prior to joining Reference Point, Kyle led the business development and investor relations efforts for Stellwagen Capital, an aviation finance company. Prior to that role, he served as a Director in Cross-Asset Solutions and Strategies at Bank of America, managing client relationships for highly structured private cash and derivatives transactions across fixed income and equity markets. Prior to that, Kyle worked in a variety of sales, trading, research, and structuring roles in structured products at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch. Kyle began his career as a research assistant at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
Kyle graduated with a B.S.B.A. from Creighton University, and is a CFA charterholder.
