Ellen Fine Levine is a Subject Matter Expert at Reference Point and a global C-level finance and risk management executive with over 30 years of experience of successful leadership including extensive board level responsibilities, P&L accountability, and complex financial management navigation.
Ellen served as Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Managing Director – Enterprise Risk Management of both public and private companies, primarily in the financial services arena. Ellen possesses broad and deep industry knowledge with a proven track record of innovation in key areas such as operating results, financial structures, cost savings, reporting accuracy, risk mitigation, and talent development, as well as global corporate functional start up and turnaround experience. Ellen is a trusted advisor to board Audit, Finance and Risk Management Committees.
Prior to Reference Point, Ellen held multiple executive level roles at the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) including Managing Director, Treasurer, and CFO. The DTCC Board also selected Ellen to serve as Executive Client Officer. In this role she elevated conversations with key clients globally and facilitated client buy-in of rule changes. Ellen also held various management positions at other firms including Director of Credit and Risk Management at broker-dealer Cowen and Company.
Ellen holds her MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant. She also holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Albany School of Business, and she continues to serve the school as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board.
